Colors inspired by the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, Michael Jordan’s once-home, aren’t new to Jumpman-related footwear, but the newly-surfaced pair remixes a heritage-inspired look. The sneaker’s forefoot area resembles traditional “University Blue”-clad retros, but the panels along the tongue and around the heel introduce a disparate grey into the mix. Exposed foam tongues work with “Wings” insignias at the spine and midsoles underfoot to deliver an aged look via their heavily-yellowed finishes.
